Connecting to the vehicle

To plug the Openpilot device into the car, please read the following information.

If you use the Original Torque Interceptor(TI), you will need to purchase a “Mazda Development” wiring harness here or you can make your own. Get more information here. The connectors to plug the TI into the electric power steering (EPS) are included with the purchase. You also need a harness box which is available here($$$), here($$), and here($).

If you use the Torque Interceptor 2(TI2), the entire wiring harness is included with the TI2 purchase but you will need a harness box which is available here($$$), here($$), and here($).
